 PHILIP
N. DAVEY formed the law firm DAVEY ASSOCIATES, P.C., on October 1, 1990,
to offer quality admiralty and maritime law services to ships, shippers,
shore facilities, their owners and their underwriters. Through more than
25 years of experience in admiralty law, Phil has developed a thorough
familiarity with all aspects of maritime claims, including hull &
machinery, P&I, chartering & carriage of goods, personal injury
and marine insurance. In addition to his legal experience, Phil has practical
maritime experience from his tour of duty in the U.S. Navy as a deck officer.
He has taught Admiralty Law as Adjunct Faculty at William & Mary,
Regent University, and the University of Virginia. Phil was named by his
peers to "The Best Lawyers in America" (2000-2001) for his expertise
in maritime law.
