ARTHUR JETT, JR., a maritime attorney with 40 years experience, joined
the firm January 1, 1999. Arthur was a named principal with the long standing
law firm of 'Jett, Berkley, Furr & Padgett' before the aforementioned
firm merged with 'McGuire, Woods, Battle & Boothe'. Arthur was educated
at the University of Virginia and the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at
the College of William & Mary where he took his Juris Doctorate in
1959. Before entering law school, he served on active duty in the U.S.
Navy. Arthur was named by his peers to 'The Best Lawyers in America' (1997-1998)
for his expertise in maritime law.
