 MARK
E. NEWCOMB joined the firm in September 2001, after twenty years of service
in the U.S. Navy. A graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy, Mark received
his law degree from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of
William & Mary and an LL.M from the Judge Advocate General's School,
U. S. Army. As a Judge Advocate, Mark served as both court-room and staff
counsel, and developed a thorough familiarity with all aspects of admiralty,
maritime, aviation, national security and public international law. Prior
to his legal education, he qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer and
served as a Deck Officer and Ship's Navigator. Mark's practice concentrates
in the areas of admiralty, international, and maritime law.
